Well, it is approaching the end of another calendar year, and what a journey it has been for the Protecht Group. The last 12 months have been full of new adventures and big changes. We welcomed new people and said goodbye to other valuable members.
David Tattam has trained over 1,000 people this year in London, New Zealand and Australia on all things risk. Selina Ivanovski and her team have continued to sign new customers in Protecht.ALM, in what is a challenging and consolidating mutual ADI market.
In the enterprise risk space, Protecht.ERM sales have been exceptional during a year where the product has had three major enhancements delivered:
It is now not only the most functionally-rich risk product in the market but also now one of the freshest from a user interface (UI) perspective. For those of you interested in the mobile functionality, Protecht.ERM empowers you to build any data capture form and watch it be instantly deployed to the mobile app. You have the power to build apps.
A special thank you to Peter Walker and the tech teams, Nick Broome and the analytics and advisory teams delivering the implementations, and to all our new and existing customers. As always, we welcome any feedback and suggestions you may have.
From a staffing perspective, we have seen numbers grow by close to 30%. We have welcomed John Wilson as our independent Chair and also appointed two key executives - Damien Stevens, as Head of Product and Marketing, and Ian Hadwen, as Global Head of Sales. We are continually striving to improve our product delivery and know that these new appointments will support that goal.
We had two wonderful client Xmas functions in Sydney and Melbourne to launch our new brand logo and tagline – Redefining Risk, after 20 years in business (watch the video here). We also celebrated this milestone and spread the holiday cheer with our clients across the seas in London and Auckland. Thank you to all involved in the launch and those customers who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the functions.
Lastly, I would like to pay tribute to Alf Esteban who is retiring in December. Alf joined Protecht in 2012 as our first ever CEO and in the last two years he has been responsible for the Sales and Marketing departments as we have achieved record sales and growth. A man who loves a chat, good food and red wine, his presence will be sorely missed in the office. Thank you, Alf, for all your contributions over the years, and all the best for the next phase.
We wouldn't be where we are today without our supporters. A big thank you to all Protecht staff, clients, partners and friends for being with us in our 20-year journey.
We're only getting started so stick around and join us as we continue to redefine risk. Bring on 2020!
