London, 3 October 2023 – As we grow and develop our UK business, we’re very happy to announce that Gary Lynam has been appointed as Protecht's new Managing Director EMEA. Gary has been an integral part of our team for more than four years, playing a vital role in growing the business in the region as Head of Customer Success and Advisory.
In his new role, Gary will be responsible for leading the next phase of Protecht’s journey in EMEA, ensuring the product evolves to meet local market needs, and building on recent product developments across vendor risk management, operational resilience, and Consumer Duty.
Gary has a strong track record delivering large scale and complex engagements across the financial services industry, specialising in risk and compliance solutions.

We’re also delighted to announce that Ryan Knapton will take over Gary’s role as the new Head of Customer Success EMEA. Ryan was previously ERM Implementation Project Manager at Protecht, with extensive experience leading risk, compliance, and regulatory projects across major financial institutions globally.
At Protecht, he's been instrumental in shaping risk management solutions that not only address the technical aspects but also focus on the human element – engaging teams and senior management alike. He will be guiding the delivery and implementation team to future success.
