- About Us
Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) is the national peak body representing all age service providers. They are the only industry peak body acting on behalf of private sector and not-for-profit providers delivering retirement living, home care and residential aged care services.
LASA work with governments, health and community services and other stakeholders to improve standards, equality and efficiency within age services. Their state and national offices work together to ensure Australia’s age services industry is economically viable, sustainable and able to meet the growing demand – today and into the future.
This was the first time for Protecht to attend this conference and we were pleased to do so in conjunction with LexisNexis who kindly allowed us to share their exhibition space.
And WOW what a conference. We will be back.
It was enlightening to see such a wide range of exhibitors all of whom were providing relevant and high-quality goods and services to a very important sector which in time will probably affect all of us.
With over 1,200 delegates we were kept very busy and it was an excellent opportunity for us to meet so many new people and discuss risk, compliance and incident management among other topics. Equally, a big thank you to those who took the time to stop by our stand and learn about what we can do to assist with their risk framework implementation. Also, it was an excellent opportunity for Protecht to understand the role LASA plays within the Aged Care sector.
