Key information and topics covered
Here's a summary of the changes, along with some of the other new features coming with release 11.1:
Roles & permissions made simpler
- Quickly create a role with either full access or data entry access: Each role aligns to a user type according to the permissions you choose to enable. Available permissions for the user types are easy to find and enable – either one at a time or in groups of related permissions. The user type is associated with your user licenses – allocating permissions at a higher level will change the role to the higher user type.
- Find permissions easily under each module: When you create or open a role, permissions are easier to see and locate. They're grouped in the relevant module or register application – expand the section to see the permissions available.
- Easily manage which users are assigned to a role: The role editor now shows you which users are assigned to the role, and allows you to quickly assign a new user, remove a user, or move a user to a different role.
Create a data entry template
- Simplify data entry for your users with a pre-filled template for creating similar register entries.
Quickly access relevant videos, walk-throughs, and help pages
- The Learn More icon now gives you easy access to a range of videos, walk-throughs, and help articles relevant to that screen.
Resilience: replace a placeholder with a linked process
- Easily replace placeholder processes in your service map diagram with a linked process - either an existing one from the library or a new one created on-the-fly.
Make a field or section required for state transition
- Status Transitions are now available in the conditional rule editor. You can select your transition in the controlling expression and then create a dependent action that makes the field or section required.
