  • Understanding Events, Root Causes, Failed Processes, Impacts and Controls
  • Key types of incident
  • Compliance requirements for incident management – Reportable events


3. HOW?

  • The key steps in managing an incident well
  • The incident management process
  • Conducting root cause analysis using Bow Tie analysis
  • Reporting
  • Using incidents in the wider ERM framework

4. WHO?

  • Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities for incident management
  • Defining who does what?
  • Creating the right culture


Course expectations

  • Watch approximately 30 videos (TBC)
  • Answer approximately 10 knowledge questions (TBC)
  • Answer 10 quiz questions



  • Approximately 5 hours for the whole course (TBC)
